Yes. An existing registered CRESS project may opt for the CRESS Acceleration Package, subject to the applicable eligibility conditions and the project achieving the required Commercial Operation Date (COD). The existing RED is not required to submit a new CRESS application but must submit an official request to the Single Buyer to participate in the CRESS Acceleration Package. Projects that do not opt for or qualify for the package will remain subject to the prevailing CRESS SAC mechanism.
