Consumers may contact the licensee to determine whether the electricity supply system delivered to the house is in good condition or otherwise. If the cause of the electricity supply cut off is an unstable or high incoming voltage, the licensee needs to repair or improve the electricity supply system to prevent the same incident from recurring. However, if the licensee's inspection finds that the incoming voltage is in good condition, a frequently tripping main circuit breaker or constantly interrupted electricity supply may be caused by damage to electrical equipment or the house's internal wiring system.

In this regard, the consumer needs to contact any electrical contractor registered with the Energy Commission to inspect the house's internal wiring.
