Disebabkan potensi risiko harga, kos pembiayaan, rantaian bekalan, dan risiko projek berkaitan yang lain, harga BESS yang dipasang mungkin menjadi lebih tinggi berbanding model kewangan/kajian ekonomi pengawal selia yang digunakan untuk membangunkan Garis Panduan CRESS. Oleh yang demikian, kekangan tegar terhadap saiz BESS dalam seksyen 8.14(a) mungkin menjadi punca Kos Tenaga Terselaras (LCOE) bagi penyelesaian tenaga gabungan GEP dan BESS untuk bakal GC menjadi lebih tinggi berbanding harga penanda aras semasa yang diterima daripada TNB. Adakah pengawal selia bersedia mempertimbangkan untuk melonggarkan peraturan tersebut atau membenarkan RED menentukan saiz BESS yang berdaya maju dari segi kewangan bagi memastikan harga yang kompetitif dapat dicapai dan pelabur memperoleh pulangan pelaburan yang munasabah?
