Yes, provided there is no change to the Company registration number (ROC/ROB) and no changes to any of the business partners. To apply for a Company Name change, you must submit:

  • A written letter to ST; and
  • For a partnership business: confirmation of the name change and the latest detailed particulars and addresses of all business partners issued by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM); or
  • For a company (Sdn. Bhd./Bhd.): the latest SSM-certified Form 13, Form 24, and Form 49 under the Companies Act 1965 [Act 125], documenting the name change and confirming no changes to the company’s partners/shareholders.
