Energy consumers are required to appoint a Registered Energy Auditor (REA) to conduct an energy audit and submit an energy audit report in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Commission. The first audit report must be submitted within one year from the date of notice. Subsequent audit reports must be submitted every five years, or where an exemption notice is issued, in accordance with the period specified in the exemption notice.
