Person in Charge of a Building
What happens if a building does not meet the required energy intensity performance under the EECA 2024?
If a building does not meet the prescribed minimum energy intensity performance, the Commission may issue a written notice of non-compliance. The person in charge of the building is then required to appoint a Registered Energy Auditor (REA) to conduct an energy audit and submit an energy audit report together with an improvement plan.
