A person in charge of a building is required to apply for and display an Energy Intensity Label, ensure compliance with the prescribed minimum energy intensity performance, and where the required performance is not met, appoint a Registered Energy Auditor (REA) to conduct an energy audit and submit an energy audit report together with an improvement plan.
